Children's Christian Books nknfknskfdsjdsvnkdsnvknsnnvfjfewhe greatest love story ever told!

All of creation is a “show and tell”
of God’s greatness, His glory, sovereignty and provision. Look around; and it will inspire us to remember that
He
has the whole world in His hands.

While driving one afternoon,
I was captivated by God’s glory –
His splendor and majesty expressed through the endless clear blue skies, the warmth of the sun, the brilliant colors of the trees.

He created a beautiful world for us to live in, where everything we need is provided by His power and grace.

“And my God
will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”
-Phillipians 4:19-

Deeply moved with emotion, I was driven to tears. I quickly I searched for a pen and paper as rhyming verses began to form in my mind. Immediately  I pulled my car over to the side of the road to pen what would become the outline of this book.
The weeks passed before the title of the book suddenly came to me
“Everlasting”
Because that is what God’s love is.

My initial concept for the book was a celebration of God’s power, provision and grace.
Sharing the idea that we are witnesses to everyday thanksgivings. While emphasizing on not taking the world or any living thing for granted.
All creation needs to be with respect.
It took form from God’s creation, and took a life of it’s own. What started out as a thirty two page book quickly became eighty pages.

I struggled with presenting too many concepts for a child to understand. Additionally, I found also myself thinking, but there’s so much more…
“How can I not include the the Holy Spirit?” He is, after all, the Third Person of Trinity and who we are left with as Our Guide.

Any writer will share that it is all about editing. Edit, edit and edit some more. After I reviewed my revised manuscript (times a hundred), I struggled with presenting too many concepts for a child to understand. Additionally, I found also myself thinking, but there’s so much more…
“How can I not include the the Holy Spirit?” He is, after all, the Third Person of Trinity and who we are left with as Our Guide.

Spending the next three and half years devoted to self study, I totally immersed myself in God’s word. ( I bought books by the bag, as well as tapes and CD’s.) During this creative process, I joined several writing communities, all forums for writers and illustrators to learn and improve their craft. I met some truly amazing people who helped me further improve my skills.

To wrap up my project (God seldom calls just one person to do His will), I found the perfect mentor, Kevin McCabe, a father of eleven children. Who else better to provide parental feedback? Additionally, it was his lovely wife who encouraged me to include another segment regarding “the book of life.” Thank you, Donna.

In my second year of writing, I began my search for an illustrator. After eight months and interviewing with six international illustrators,
I found “The One” Jason Paulhamus!

My mental visions were truly expressed with the paintings of Jason Paulhamus.
Thank you so much Jason, you did an excellant job
.

It was shortly after our first conversation that the character came to mind. The “Key to the Kindgom of Heaven”, Gabriel, a.k.a. Gabe. The rest followed easily.

Throughout Scripture, God instructed His people to pass His Word on from generation to generation. We want His Word to spread to all nations.

Then Jesus came to them and said,
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
-Matthew 28:18-

At the end of each and every the day,
“It All Belongs To Him.”

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16
